Drivers are already standing in your lot holding a device with a working keyboard. Chat is faster end-to-end (under 2 seconds), works in any language without dialect tuning, leaves a clean searchable audit trail, and runs at per-message cost rather than per-minute.

It also scales linearly — one Postgres connection can serve a thousand simultaneous text conversations, so a sudden post-event rush never gets a busy signal. The driver always lands on a working assistant in under two seconds.

What the AI can do

The text assistant uses three real tools — search nearby parking, check lot availability, and get current rates — and one new one: place a reservation hold. That means it can not only answer “is there room?” but also turn that answer into a guaranteed space the driver can confirm with one tap. If your lot is full, it can suggest a nearby Park Graph lot instead so the driver still parks somewhere — turning a potentially frustrated “sorry, full” into a save.
